The Family Band

Holidays and special occasions around the D'Andrea and Rubino households were always unique events. Italians don't do parties without lots of great food and a glass of vino in hand. With so many musicians in the family, the urge to break out our instruments was overwhelming. Playing music tied our family together, allowing the younger and older members of the family to connect and communicate in a way beyond words. Even those of our family who couldn't carry a tune were drawn in and united in celebration by the music. Invariably, family members would bring all their friends by to share in the fun, and our parites grew steadily in numbers. When we opened our tasting room, we realized the awesome opportunity to bring this joy of food, wine, and music to our patrons.
