Paso Wine Festival Weekend

 

Adam Levine & Danny Weis

Two of the Central Coast's most dynamic guitarists come together for a night of creative collaboration. Adam Levine has done session work for artists on Capitol, Warner Brothers and Motown Records, was an instructor and director at the Grove School of Music in Los Angeles for 13 years, and taught guitar for the National Guitar Workshop. He is currently the bandleader for the Central Coast's own Human Nation. Danny Weis was cofounder of the 60's group Iron Butterfly, as well as the supergroup Rhinoceros. He appeared as Bette Midler's guitarist in her 1979 film "The Rose", which received six Academy Awards. He has worked with The Everly Brothers, Alice Cooper & Jimi Hendrix, as well as many more. Adam and Danny will be backed by Bruce Beck on keyboards, Danny Pelfrey on sax, Bill Wingfield on bass, and Daryl VanDruff on drums.

Indigo Jazz features vocalist Julia Mitchell and pianist Brett Mitchell. Brett, a member of the band Human Nation, and Julia bring heart and soul to each performance. Brett�s melodic piano style and Julia�s deep rich vocal are an ideal pairing to jazz and pop standards. Joining them will be all-stars Adam Levine, (Human Nation) on guitar, drummer Darrell Voss and bassist Fred Atwood.
